Having a May start date for our CSA has been nail biting! The swings in temperatures made quite a few crops bolt, and we lost many crops to gophers. Usually we leave our row cover over our veggies until they are ready for harvest - we use row cover to protect from pest/bug damage. To combat the gophers, we had to remove the cover to set traps, but the result is more bug damage than I prefer! Thank you for understanding!
