2024 Harvest. Certified Organic, no-spray. Highly fragrant, the bójú 亳菊 chrysanthemum flower is harvested 4 times a week in October to November. The flowers are air dried and then packaged into .5oz kraft bags.
Autumn Chrysanthemum Flowers. Caffeine-free and can be served as a hot or cold beverage with food or as a cooling beverage in hot weather and aids in digestrion. Taste is sweet, this variety is considered to be a superior flower for making Chrysanthemum tea.
Traditional uses (TCM): one of the Chinese herbs that releases the exterior, used in treating common cold, flu, fever and heatstroke; high blood pressure, heart pain, atherosclerosis; dizziness, hearing loss, tinnitus, headache and migraine; red and swollen eyes, blurry vision and more.
Brewing suggestions. Approximately 3-4 grams of flowers, or a rounded tablespoon per 6-8 ounces of water. Water just under boiling temperature.
