If Pó Po 婆婆* made an American hot sauce, this would be it. Pó Po’s Mild Málà Hot Sauce is sweet and slightly numbing in a tangy vinegar base. Hand crafted with our organic, unripened, green Chinese chili peppers and 50 HERTZ Sichuan peppercorns, it’s a tribute to our Chóngqìng heritage. Notice the má, the tingling sensation of huājiāo 花椒, a citrusy, mouth-numbing spice that’s a hallmark of Sichuan cuisine.
*Pó Po means maternal Grandma.
